The maiden edition of queen of the runway modelling contest will see 12 girls battles to wear the crown and clinch all the goodies attach to the crown. The event which is schedule to take place in Ibadan, on the 18th of November, at Genesis hotels and suits,is the first of its kind in the largest city in west Africa.
The ancient city will witness the rise of fashion through the contest as 7 designers have signed up to showcase their clothes during the fashion parade segment of the contest. Top movie stars and renowned fashionistas are getting prepared to storm the all important must watch show.
The Initiator and a renowned nollywood star, Rose Odika, in an interview with Fashion Observer Africa said, the contest would be very competitive due to the crop of models that are contesting. "The models are world class and I bet the judges would find it difficult to choose the winner" she said.
